Is it the boaters or is it the poorly run municipalities? I wish someone from the groups targeting boaters had a clue where the true source of water pollution comes from.

Broken pipe causes 5,000 gallons of sewage to spill in Annapolis neighborhood, officials say
A sewer system blockage spilled 5,000 gallons of sewage in southeast Annapolis on Sunday, city officials said.
At approximately noon on Sunday, the city's Department of Public Works was alerted to a spill in the sewage outfall in the 200 block of Victor Parkway near the Fairwinds Condominium community.

Maryland halts shelfish harvesting in Chesapeake Bay
Going back just a few posts, you'll find we originally mentioned this very same issue in September, 2022. The problem predates even then, but it may be getting worse. Where is Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and the state of Maryland? Who is going to be held responsible? Heck, are they ever going to fix it?
