Advisory Issued for the Headwaters of the Patapsco River to the Mouth of Bodkin Creek Due to a Waste Overflow

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has issued an advisory for the headwaters of the Patapsco River to the mouth of Bodkin Creek due to a large effluent overflow of over 21 million gallons of partially treated wastewater from the Patapsco Wastewater Treatment Plant in Baltimore City.

Is it the boaters or is it the poorly run municipalities?  I wish someone from the groups targeting boaters had a clue where the true source of water pollution comes from.

Multiple Maryland and Baltimore City agencies are responding to a 2,000-gallon fuel spill that began Wednesday in Harbor East, officials said.

Broken pipe causes 5,000 gallons of sewage to spill in Annapolis neighborhood, officials say

 

A sewer system blockage spilled 5,000 gallons of sewage in southeast Annapolis on Sunday, city officials said.

At approximately noon on Sunday, the city's Department of Public Works was alerted to a spill in the sewage outfall in the 200 block of Victor Parkway near the Fairwinds Condominium community.
